The village of Tiers am Rosengarten/Tires -Catinaccio is situated in the Rosengarten- Latemar region. The main characteristic of this area is the Dolomite mountains, also called the ‘page mountains’. In 2009, they have been declared as UNESCO World Heritage site. The Dolomites will enchant you with their magnificent landscape.


At the foot of the Schlern/Sciliar mountain, the symbol of South Tyrol, there is the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi, which every year draws many thousands of tourists and locals alike.

Discover the village Tiers and its surroundings. Numerous churches and chaples, such as the churches of St. Zyprian and Justina or the chaple of St. Agatha. Nearby there are also museums and castles, such as the museum of Steinegg, which allows an impressive insight in the tyrolean history.
The Prösels castle in Völs/Fié is one of the most beautiful in this area. During the summer time, many events are hosted in this historical place.


However, it is always interesting to leave this holiday region behind for a day or two and enjoy some day excursions to Bozen/Bolzano, Meran/Merano, Lake Kaltern/Caldaro, the Bletterbach canyon or even further south, Lake Garda, Venice or Verona.
