Region Rosengarten Latemar
The region of Rosengarten-Latemar/Catinaccio stretches across 250 km², from the Tiers Valley and the Gummer mountain to Lake Karersee/Carezza and the Eggental Valley.
The village of Tiers is a part of the beautiful holiday region Seiser Alm, one of Europe’s biggest elevated plains right in the heart of South Tyrol. From here you have a breath taking view at the Dolomites, world heritage of the UNESCO.
Two impressive elevations named Santner and Euringer, are the symbols of South Tyrol, gazing at the villages of Tiers, Kastelruth and Völs, such as the whole region of Rosengarten Latemar.
During the summer months, the Rosengarten-Latemar offers numerous hiking possibilities for easy excursions to challenging tours around the region. During the winter, the snowy landscape turns into an adventure playground for young and old alike.
