When the temperature is below zero degrees and when the crystals show up we put our caps deeper in our faces. The nature seems to be standing still – the coldest months of the year have reached the place! The Dolomites are covered with snow and are sparkling in the mild sunlight.
But Tiers, the small alpine village in the world of King Laurin just seems to sleep its winter sleep. Kilometres of walking-trails in the Tiers valley attract sportsmen and women and those who just enjoy the winter landscape. Those who are equipped with snow tyres, gaiters and ski sticks will have for sure a great experience in the beautiful panorama of the valley.
But also the different sorts of skiing don’t miss out. The hotel Stefaner is situated at the edge of the skiing region Rosengarten – Carezza providing 16 modern lifts and altogether 40km of cross-country-skiing runs.
The skiing region Latemar/Obereggen and Val di Fassa as well as Sella Ronda are in short distance by car. You have not found anything for you? We also offer a toboggan run or a skating rink which might complete an enjoyable winter day in Tiers.
The bus which will take you to the skiing region of Rosengarten-Carezza and the Seiser Alm stops in front of our hotel.
